Our history

Since 1849

ALBERT BRENOT is one of the oldest Burgundy Wine Houses.

This respectable and renowned house was founded in 1849 in Savigny-lès-Beaune a few kilometers from Beaune, by Mr. Albert BRENOT who, in addition to his activity as a winegrower and merchant, was also Foreign Trade Advisor for France.

A pioneer in the export of Burgundy wines, Albert Brenot was also awarded a Hon's diploma in 1906 at the Universal Exhibition in Milan, thus rewarding his talents as a winemaker and trader focused on international trade.

Today

Christophe ROCHET, at the head of the family-owned Maison Albert Brenot, since 2014, is committed to maintaining the values of this respected Maison while restructuring it.
